Hey everybody,
the PWA Slalom in Turkmenistan is done.
On one side the locals have put in a tremendous amount of effort from all sides into this event that´s for sure, but to run a windsurf competition we need wind and this was not the case at all this week.
I feel really sorry for the local organization team for putting a lot of work into the event, and I feel really sad that the wind limit does not exist any more, this will kill Slalom.
They should do Formula or Race board when there is no wind, but NOT SLALOM!
If an organization has this amount of money to spend they can also do 2 or 3 disciplines, but PLEASE do not make Slalom look ridiculous.
